Korea Blogroll

After hours searching and scouring the internet to find blogs of others adopting from Korea and not having much luck very quickly, I thought I would follow Mrs. Broccoli’s VN Blog Roll example and start one here! So if you are adopting, have adopted, were adopted from Korea please leave a comment with your blog address and I will add your blog to the list! (Should you ever want to be removed leave a comment and I will do that as well!) I cannot wait to read and catch up with everyone!

  2. A very great idea. Please add me (we adopted a cutie-pie from Korea in 2004). Jean & Scott http://soon2b4.wordpress.com/

    Thanks!

  3. Good luck finding those blogs – I know they’re out there! I’m sure there’s already overlap, but you may want to peek at http://internationaladoptsites.blogspot.com/ (Korea is toward the bottom). If you haven’t already, I’d suggest using Google blog search and Google alerts too, I can find a lot of blogs that way.

    Happy searching!

  4. Great idea! We are adopting from Korea, here’s our blog site:
    http://www.chrisandkelly.blogspot.com

It’s not much more than small updates about our adoption process and pictures of my niece and nephews at this point, but someday soon it will include pics and stories of our own little peanut!

    Kelly

  5. You can add me. We are in the process of adopting our second from Korea. Address is: http://www.plannedlife.blogspot.com

  6. [...] yeah the Korea Blogroll has taken off – that just excites me! But I am still reading all my other country blogs (mainly [...]

  7. OK, you have totally intrigued me. You did exactly what you said you would and left a comment (you are actually the first person since I created my blog to leave a comment that I didn’t know…love it!) I would love to be a part of any Korea adoption blog group or adoption for that matter….it’s an absolute wonderful blessing to create our family through adoption!

  8. Thank you for getting this list together!!!. I have wanted a list like this for sometime, but never had the time to do it. You see many of these list for other countries, but not Korea.

    Here is my blogs:
    http://road2family.blogspot.com/
    http://100goodwishes4baby.blogspot.com/

Once again Thank you so much for putting this list together. It is great to be able to see everyone’s blogs about their experiences.

  9. We are in the process of adopting a daughter from Korea. We have three bio boys – Brian – 7, Sean – 4, and Justin – 9mos. All we conceived thru intensive fertility treatmens from Clomid to IVF with many miscarriages. We are looking forward to adding to our family. We are working on the homestudy packet and the blog, right now, is mostly about the boys since we don’t have a lot of adoption news right now.

  10. I see you have the old blog from adoptionblogs that I used to write for on your list. You can also add my new one (if you want to). http://korea-adoption.blogspot.com. I am a Korean adoptee and mother of a Korean adoptee.

  11. In the process of adopting from Korea!

  12. We are in the process of adopting our first baby from Korea.
    Our blog is

Hoping that our HS will be going to Korea by May 2008.

  13. [...] though I have not it is very similar to the paperwork for the homestudy!) Keep checking out the Korea Blogroll (one of my pages!) I swear the list grows [...]

  14. Thanks for starting this blog roll…I can’t wait to read everyone’s story. No matter how many I read, they all still seem to thrill me.

  15. I think you found me! My son came home from Korea about 8 months ago.

  16. I LOVE reading others blogs. We are a family of 5, our youngest is almost 3 and came home from Korea 7/07! Our blog is at http://www.millsfamily5.blogspot.com and I try and update weekly, but hope to do so more often soon!

  17. Thanks for putting this together…our family blog is forever2young.blogspot.com

  18. Ohh, I love your list – thank you! We adopted our son, Kaneu, from Korea in 2005. We are currently in the process of adopting babies from both Vietnam AND Korea.

  19. The “Holt Bloggers” Blog is not just for people adopting through Holt, it’s just a list of people who are part of the Holt forum board (the Holt BB)…sounds confusing, I know! You don’t have to be adopting through Holt to be part of the Holt forum board; in fact, we are adopting through AAC in Colorado. So, could you please change the title to read Holt BB bloggers and not include anything about adopting through Holt? Thanks!!! :o )
    Kelly

  20. Could you please change our blog name from “Waiting for Brooke” to “Living the Dream”? Thanks!

  21. I’m an adoptive mom with two Korean teens and have been blogging for about two years now. Good to meet you!

2008 was an exciting year for us, bringing our son home from Korea. It’s hard to believe that in less than 2 months from now, we’ll celebrate our first “gotcha day.”

And 2009 looks to be another exciting year as well. We’ll blog about some things we’re anticipating for the year within the next few weeks! :-)

Thank you compiling this list… I was in the middle of scouring the Internet when I found it.

Would it be too much to ask to separate the blogs into those who are adoptees and those who are parents? If it is too much work, I completely undersand, you have already done your part. However, if you could do it, I feel like it might be useful.

    Thanks,

    Z
